Introduction: This film is presently unavailable to the public.

"Two-Fisted Rangers was the first of a handful of Charles Starrett westerns to be lifted from the routine by the camera pyrotechnics of director Joseph H. Lewis. The story is the usual one about hero avenging the death of his brother at the hands of villainous Kenneth MacDonald. Country-western singer Bob Nolan is afforded a rare speaking role and even gets to indulge in an energetic fistfight with the hero. Director Lewis contributes a few excellent tracking shots in the chase scenes, but is less effective in staging the fights, with Starrett's stunt double all too obvious." (Hal Erickson)
